Braves call up Johan Camargo, in correlation with Adonis Garcia being placed on 10 day DL
The Braves have officially called up Johan Camargo to take over the vacant spot of Adonis Garcia as he is battling achilles tendinitis after being placed on the 10-day DL. The Braves look for a consistent player at both the offensive and defensive ends of the game, and Camargo seems to have both.
Camargo is holds a .307 batting average with 27 hits in 88 at bats. He is listed as a 2B, but could be a viable bat in the lineup or coming off the bench.
For the 10 days that Garcia will be on the DL, Johan Camargo will look to make the most of his time in the majors, with the hope of making a valid point for playing time.
