Falcons Sign Reggie Davis to Practice Squad
After an explosive preseason, racking up 8 catches for 126 yards, Reggie Davis was in a good position to land a roster spot but ultimately lost it to Nick Williams who made the roster as a special teams player. After waiving Davis following the 4th preseason game, he was picked up by the Cleveland Browns and failed to make an appearance in the first two regular season games.
Atlanta, knowing they had seen something special in Davis, announced on Tuesday afternoon that they had signed him to the practice squad! With this pickup, the Falcons could have a serious speedster to compliment Taylor Gabriel in the slot position this season if needed.
