With the Georgia Bulldogs winning yet another SEC division game, they have moved themselves to a 6-0 season record that has propelled them to #4 in the Nation.

On Monday, Kirby Smart open upped the press conference by stating, “Missouri has a good team, they stop themselves most of the time and not many teams have stopped their offense.” “Their record doesn’t indicate how good they actually are, we must be ready to play good football.”

When asked about how the defense preformed this past weekend against Vanderbilt, Coach Smart said, “Conditioning and the heat affected the way the defense played the game on Saturday.” “Our pass rush isn’t where it needs to be, mainly because we are concerned about stopping the run.”

A few minutes into the press conference, the question about how Trenton Thompson’s recovery is coming along popped up and Coach Smart had a clear answer, “Trent is recovering, he’ll be day to day, week to week. We haven’t ruled him out this game, we hope to get him back, he’s still battling, he is moving now and running some.”

Smart also had some updates on a few other players:

Reggie Carter for instance was announced to be day to day and that the Bulldogs will probably get him back today or tomorrow

Solomon Kindley went down with an injury on Saturday but is said to be good to go.

With the #4 Bulldogs homecoming being this Saturday when they facing Missouri at 7:30, look for the team to try to put together a complete game before the bye week.
