#7 UGA vs Kentucky Week #12 Prediction
On Senior Day and the final game at Sanford Stadium for the 2017 season, the Bulldogs host the Kentucky Wildcats, looking for their 10th win of their season.
With all the seniors being recognized for their loyalty and performances during their careers at UGA, they will each be individually congratulated in front of all of Dawg Nation.
With the game taking place at 3:30pm at Sanford Stadium, the Bulldogs have a few keys to victory:
After last week’s egg, the Bulldogs must not only start fast but must also keep their foot on the gas and blowout a inferior opponent in Kentucky. Last week the Bulldogs were able to march down the field on their first drive but then was stalled for the rest of the game. They must make sure that doesn’t happen today or else there may be some problems.
Make a Statement:
In a game where the Bulldogs are 3 TD favorites, they must make a statement and show the Nation that last week’s performance was a fluke and that they are a lot better than what they showed in Auburn.
Secondary Must Remain Honest:
With Kentucky a dangerous team on the offensive side of the ball, the Bulldogs will need to limit the amount of big plays and stop RB Benny Snell Jr who has been a tear as of late.
Run The Ball Effectively:
Georgia needs to continue to do what they do best which is run the ball. Last week, Auburn completely over-played and over-hustled Georgia and that showed when UGA was held to under 100 yards as a team.
Mix Up the Play Calls:
OC Jim Chaney must change up the play calling if the Bulldogs are going to pull away… After a horrible showing last week where Chaney called multiple HB draws that went nowhere, he must get Jake Fromm comfortable and in a rhythm as they prepare for the SEC Championship game. I see Jake Fromm throwing for 250 yards this game and a steady dose of Chubb and Michel.
Prediction: Georgia 37 Kentucky 17
