Triple-A Gwinnett Upsets Fan Base Over New Name

Most of the Gwinnett fan base was upset over the new name that was announced on Friday afternoon. It became official that the Gwinnett Braves are now the Gwinnett Stripers. No, not Stripper.
Apparently, the contest that was held to come up with a new name, was bogus. The name wasn’t even picked from the finalists. So what exactly is the point of having finalist?
