BREAKING NEWS: Trent Thompson to stay for Senior Season

For the past #1 ranked player in 2015, Trent Thompson has been riddled by injuries throughout his career at UGA. From his undisclosed health that kept him out for a few months to the knee injuries he’s had over the past couple of years, Trent has decided to return for his senior year!
In an Instagram post Trent made it known that he’s ready for his senior year!
After racking up 5 sacks in 2016, Trent has yet to record one in 2017. Although his personal stats aren’t where he might want them to be, he and his defensive line have made some noise and now see themselves in the CFP and playing Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl on January 1st!
