BREAKING NEWS: Atlanta United FC selects Oliver Shannon with 36th pick of MLS SuperDraft

With their second pick of the 2018 MLS SuperDraft, Atlanta United FC continue to stack their roster with the addition of midfielder, Oliver Shannon, a graduate of Clemson University.          .

Now adding a midfielder to their roster, Atlanta United FC grabs an explosive player who has a lot of potential moving the ball. The senior from Liverpool, UK as a freshman scored 3 goals. In his sophomore season, Shannon was named to the All-ACC Third team and recorded 5 goals. With each season, Shannon continued to get better and distribute the ball. In doing so, his numbers weren’t eye-popping but good enough to get drafted by Atlanta United FC.

With his ability to see the field, Shannon should make noise this upcoming season.
