As many Georgia fans remember, Isaiah Wynn not only led the team with his leadership but also with his big heart and love of the game. Isaiah a 6-3 313 lb offensive lineman not only made gaping holes for two of the best running backs in 2017 but also had some of the best and most unforgettable td celebrations with Chubb and Michel.
Wynn after every TD, would hoist his beloved RB above his head as a way to show his excitement for his team and their accomplishments. It became quite a known celebration as both Sony Michel and Nick Chubb both would look specifically for Wynn to raise them in the air.
With his UGA career at an end, Isaiah focused all his attention to his NFL Combine workout and it showed. In the few days there, Isaiah made an immediate impression on many NFL scouts. In multiple drills, Isaiah would push back and completely beat people who were projected to be miles ahead of him. With his ability to show what he had, many scouts instantly placed Isaiah on the top of their boards.
But what stood out the most during the combine was his outgoing personality and his enjoyment for the game. With the questions and media portion of the Combine, many believe that to be the most difficult and stressful part of the whole process, Isaiah was laughing and showing his appreciation for his fellow Dawgs.
With the #23 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots selected OL out of UGA Isaiah Wynn!
