BREAKING NEWS: Braves Ozzie Albies nabs All-Star bid

Ozzie did it! After starting his 2018 season battling for the home-run leader through 2 months and leading the NL in extra base hits, he has finally earned his first career All-Star bid. Braves Country and the Nation took notice of Ozzie’s energetic and risky play as he stole bases, pushed singles into doubles and showed that his defense is some of the best in the league.

Ozzie sporting a .282 batting average, has 107 hits in 380 at bats, 29 doubles, 18 home runs and 50 RBI’s  through the first 87 games will officially be a reserve 2nd baseman in the 2018 All-Star Game.
