After 13 years in the league where Nick has been one of the most consistent hitters, he has finally earned the ability to play in his first All-Star Game! Through his first 13 years, Nick has averaged a .281 batting average, 182 hits, 39 doubles, 15 home-runs and 79 RBI’s. (in 162 games)

In 2018 Nick has exceeded almost all those average numbers boasting a .324 batting average, 112 hits, 27 doubles and 59 RBI’s in the first 87 games.  Nick in 2018 has been one of the most clutch and reliable hitters for the Braves by leading the team in average, RBI’s and was the first player in the NL to reach the 100 hit mark.

With the Braves getting National attention, everyone was able to see that Nick deserved to play in the 2018 All-Star Game and the votes showed that! With the voting open for a few more days, Nick led all outfielders with 2,457,648 votes with Dodgers’ Matt kemp just behind with 2,046,534.
