As College Football continues, now 2 weeks into the season, it is becoming evident who the top 5 teams in the nation are. Previously ranked #1 Alabama took on Arkansas State and blew them out 57-7, #2 Clemson withstood a fierce Texas A&M team and won 28-26 on a controversial touchback call, #3 Georgia surprised South Carolina with a 41-17 victory in Columbia, #4 Ohio State defeated a struggling UCLA 49-21, and #5 Wisconsin ran all over New Mexico in a 45-14 victory. With the new rankings dropping at 2pm EST, the news came out and not many were surprised as there were real no changes in top 5 except Oklahoma jumping Wisconsin for the #5 spot.

The main changes were South Carolina (#25) and Florida (#24) both dropped out of the top 25, Michigan State dropped from #15 to #25, and Arizona State jumped into the top 25 with a 2-0 record to the #23 spot.

The Top 25 came out and Georgia remained in the same spot (#3). With a mediocre matchup with the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders coming up this Saturday, the game will be viewed nationally on ESPN 2. Kickoff is set for 7:15pm.

In the next published article, we will focus on the Dawg’s task at hand as they take on the Blue Raiders and give our game-day predictions.
