Georgia stays at #2 in AP Poll Rankings 10/7/18

Now 6 weeks into the season, Week #6 hit the top 25 fast and hard as multiple top teams went down with loses. Previously ranked #1 Alabama beat Arkansas 65-31, #2 Georgia defeated Vanderbilt 41-13, #3 Clemson beat Wake Forest 63-3, #4 Ohio State beat Indiana 49-26, and the shocker #5 LSU LOST to Florida 27-19. With the new rankings dropping at 2:00pm EST, the news came out and many were surprised as there were 8 Top 25 teams that went down with losses.

The main changes were LSU dropped to #13, Florida jumped to #14, Oklahoma dropped to #11, and Auburn and Kentucky both took SEC loses and landed at #21 and #18  respectfully.

The Top 25 came out and Georgia remained in the #2 spot. With yet another big SEC showdown coming up this Saturday vs LSU in Baton Rouge, the kickoff time is set for 3:30pm. In the next published article, we will focus on the Dawg’s task at hand as they take on LSU and give our game-day predictions.
