Following yet another crazy and unexpected week #9 of college football that saw #6 Ohio State fall to Iowa 55-24, and #7 Penn State lose a heart breaker to Michigan State on a last second field goal 27-24, Georgia remained perfect after a so so showing against a 6-2 South Carolina team and won 24-10. #2 Alabama had some difficulty with LSU and also remained perfect with a 24-10 victory as well.
With 3 games remaining on UGA’s schedule, the Bulldogs now head to Auburn to face a top 10 Tigers team who look to upset a special season for the Dawgs.
Now sitting at 9-0, the Bulldogs are projected to have a 49% chance of victory against the Tigers. If UGA is able to squeeze out a victory at 3:30pm on Saturday, UGA should have no problem ending the season undefeated.
At 7pm, the Playoff Committee announced the 2nd rankings of 2017. In doing so, UGA remained in the #1 spot.
